IOF is “…strategic and proactive…”

Dear Friend — George Soros calls the International Organization for the Family (IOF) “strategic and proactive.” His Open Society Foundation warns the so-called progressive left that IOF is no longer defensive in nature, reacting to the left’s agenda. Rather, they see that we are moving the pro-family movement forward, enacting policies and building relationships to equip and empower a global force for the family.

Soros is exactly right. But we need your help if we are to be successful. Please help IOF at this critical time to advance the pro-family agenda and defeat attacks on the family. Every donation through Labor Day will be matched!

This past May, IOF gathered thousands of pro-family leaders in Hungary, Soros’s homeland, at the World Congress of Families XI Budapest Family Summit.   We

celebrated Hungary’s remaking of itself under President Viktor Orban into “the family friendly nation.” And we brought in some the world’s most accomplished experts – social scientists, academics, communications specialists, researchers, etc. – to equip, educate and engage attendees who had come from virtually every continent.  In turn, these thousands of activists will return home to pursue pro-family work and ministries.

The World Congress in Budapest was an amazing success, and George Soros is quite concerned about it. His “Open Democracy 50 50” prepared a detailed report of the Congress, which they published to their supporters. In it, they write that Congress organizers are among the major driving forces in the “export of homophobia and sexism.” They warn that IOF is facilitating a “transnational anti-rights alliance” that is becoming “increasingly organized and connected.” And they say that groups organized by IOF have had “success in pushing through regressive language in international human rights documents.”

Again, George Soros is right except what he sees as ‘regressive’ and ‘anti-rights’ is in reality pro-child, pro-family and pro-society. The International Organization for the Family has helped connect groups on virtually every continent and weave them into an impressive pro-family movement, and we’ve had tremendous success in fighting for the natural family and derailing the left’s agenda.

Soros is also concerned that IOF will raise the $100,000 in matching funds that expires on Labor Day. Let’s make sure his concerns are validated as we rally the pro-family community to help us reach our $100,000 goal!
